The site owner can elect to charge sellers a commission every time an item is sold.
The site owner can set a commission based on the percentage of the sale price, with a minimum reserve.
For example if the commission rate was set at 10% with a minimum of $1:

On the 15th of each month, the commission for each seller is calculated for the previous month on all paid items (allowing 15 days for the majority of transactions to be paid and shipped), and the seller is emailed a payment due notification. The seller can then follow the link to pay commission via Paypal. Once paid the auction site is automatically notified and the seller and administrator control panels will update to reflect this.
Sellers have access to a full payment history page, and administrators can view and maintain the status of individual payments.
