Payment Gateways

Payment gateways are used by site members to pay for items and seller commission. TM Auctions currently supports Paypal.

The payment flow is as follows:

1. Payer clicks the Pay Now button
2. They are directed to the Paypal website. If the payee has created a business Paypal account, the payer can pay immediately by credit card without having to register on the Paypal website. Otherwise the payer can login/register to Paypal and follow the instructions to complete the payment.
3. Once the payment has been made, your auction website will automatically be notified and the items will indicate that the items have been paid in the buyer and seller control panels
4. The payer will be redirected back to your website and will see a payment confirmation message.

* If the seller has not configured Paypal in their account settings, then the buyer and seller can exchange private messages to make alternative payment arrangements.
